First of all, sorry for this huge delay. Between the time we shipped every order and the time of donation, we had to take care of many things related to the artbook and things in our personal lives. We hope you understand.

So without further ado, we have donated the money raised from this project.
We were able to donate an amount of $9,669 to St. Jude's Hospital. Here are the screenshot of the donation, and the details of our expenses.

With this journal, we conclude this project. Again, we would like to apologize for those of you who got affected by the shipping problem. Like we said on the front page, this book will NOT be printed again. To those of you who missed the chance to support us in this project and asked if we are going to do another one in the future, we don't have the plan now, but anything can happen. If we ever do decide to do another, please do support us again!

We will not be answering any more questions related to this project. We will leave this group open for anyone who would like to view all the amazing artworks by the contributing artists.

For the last time, we would like to thank everyone for their support by either purchasing the book, contributing art works to the book, or simply wishing us good luck, because without you all, we couldn't have done it.

THANK YOU!

PS. We'd like to explain one thing - People who have worked with mass printing places will understand this. The printing of 500 books versus 600 books had perhaps a $40 USD difference in price. This is because the cost of paper is negligent compared to the cost of setting up a HQ art book printer. Thus, we were able to ensure free copies to all participating artists WITHOUT compromising the amount of money we could donate. To be honest, most of the cost lay in the shipping, which we underestimated.

Edit: Consolidated & relabeled some of the costs for clarification.

Shipping Updates:

:star: Please do NOT ask me when you'll be receiving your package. I don't ship things on a daily basis so I have no idea. I will NOT answer any notes/comments/emails regarding when your package will arrive. All orders are sent from California, US., you can try to estimate it. USPS says that it takes 2-4 weeks, but it can take up to 5 weeks. When it goes out, we are not responsible for it if it becomes lost or gets delayed.

Update Sept. 17: Since everything was sent as stated in the last update, we obviously cannot change your addresses anymore. Thanks for understanding, everyone.

Update Sept. 15: EVERYTHING, pre-orders, artist's copies, wait list orders, and giveaways are ALL SHIPPED. Again, we cannot thank everybody enough. We will be closing the project as soon as we have time to sort the expenses and donate to St. Jude's.

Update Sept. 11: Wait list orders will be shipped on the weekends.

Update Sept 8: Most orders, including artists, have been shipped. They will arrive in 2-4 weeks, but may take longer if they are held for customs by your country. People on the waiting list: please check your email for invoices. I have canceled a few because I miscounted; So if you received an email that I canceled or if you didn't get one, sorry we are sold out, and the only way to get one now is if anyone withdraws. If you got an invoice and would like to withdraw, just simply cancel the request. No need to notify us, we understand, thanks!

:star: Please read: We are very sorry if your book had damages. We thought the packaging would be strong enough - we even tested with one book by stepping on it, punching it, and throwing it as hard as we could, and it wasn't as damaged as some of yours. It was too late when we had found out, and we did what we could in hopes that the rest of the books will arrive in better conditions. Again, we're sorry, but the handling the packages received were way worse than our expectations. We hope everyone understands that we tried our best to protect it, and the only thing we can do now is hope that the post office will actually read and follow the "fragile handle with care" sign.
Thanks everyone for entering, here are the winners, congratulations!

I have noted the winners, please reply within 24 hours or I will choose another person.
Also, I noticed a lot of participating artists entered, I packed a set in each artist's package so you guys all will receive a set :)

________________
Many of you are probably aware that we did a giveaway on Tumblr and Facebook a while back - don't worry we haven't forgotten about it.
We apologize for the delay; we were busy with preorders.

Tumblr winners have been notified, but there is a problem with Facebook due to privacy settings.
We could only see the list of people who shared the post AND had a "public" profile. And as you all know, many people have their Facebook on private because of security reasons. We didn't know this before the giveaway because we aren't that familiar with Facebook.

To make up for this, we are giving away

3 SETS OF LIMITED EDITION ITEMS ON DEVIANTART!

More information on limited edition items here: [link]

Please read the rules on how to enter:

:bulletred: We are giving away 3 sets of limited edition items, NOT THE BOOK. Each winner will receive ONE whole set of 2 posters, 4 postcards, and 4 bookmarks.
:bulletblue: You HAVE to be comfortable on giving your address away. We are NOT going to do anything to your address, but unfortunately we have no time or ways to prove that to you. So it's up to you to decide if you trust us.
:bulletred: If you're not comfortable on giving away your address, please do everyone a favor and DO NOT enter. Thanks.
:bulletblue: If you're a minor, please tell your parents if you win. We don't want you to in trouble with your parents or something like that.
:bulletred: We will cover the shipping fees to wherever you are.
:bulletblue: Favorite this journal for ONE chance. Please do NOT use multiple accounts. If we find out that you did, we will pick another winner.
:bulletred: Comments will NOT count.
:bulletblue: This will end on 12:01 AM PST Friday, September 14
:bulletred: When you put this journal in fav, there will be a number if you click the list of "who". I will pick the winner with random.org by generating random numbers, and the corresponding person with the number wins. I don't know if your number changes when more people favorite it, but I will use what I see when I generate the number, and I will take a screenshot to prove it.
:bulletblue: Winners will be announced and notified via note on the 14th.
:bulletred: Yes you can enter and win if you already have a set, we won't stop you, but we would appreciate it if you gave someone else a chance to get it though. All international orders/artists do have a set that's in their package.

Lastly, we would like to apologize for the delay again, and thank you for all your support!

===

For those of you who read this journal [link] you know that there was a slight mishap with the cover of the book that has caused us a bit of grief.

In order for us to get the books to all the pre-orders faster, we have opted to keep the selection of color-changed covers and offer them at a 25% discount. All the printing is perfect minus the color change of the cover. (There is also a zoomed-in version of the cover inside the book).

If you want a copy of the book, this is your last chance!

Since these books are on hand we will be shipping them immediately at the end of every business week, so please make sure your shipping information is correct.

We are limited to exactly 100 copies, and you can see the "changed" cover of the book in the image below:

Oh no, not again...

The books came on Monday afternoon, the last day of AX. When I got home and saw them sitting on the front porch because much cursing ensued, along with wailing and bemoaning the fate of the universe.

Unfortunately, that's not all that happened.

Everything was perfect if you ignore that the cover looked like it had been dipped into red soda. I've contacted the printing company liaison once again. They were very fast in responding with this and told me that essentially, the printing place they worked with messed up. The lamination that occurs on the cover will sometimes change the color of the cover (in this case, it killed it) and they were suppose to adjust the colors to reduce that lamination-color-change-effect. They didn't. The good news is, it's not super difficult to redo, only the cover had been affected, and they had only shipped me the first hundred books. The bad news is that the estimated ETA for all of the books to arrive is now Mid-August.

Once again, we apologize for the delays, but I really don't want to send out an imperfect product to you guys.

Finally: Every single artist who has artwork featured in the book will receive a free copy.
